Kenan Sofuoglu has retained pole position for the penultimate round of the World Supersport Championship after rain ensured there were no changes to the provisional order.

With lap times around five seconds down on what the riders were recording on the Friday, there was no threat to a revised grid order from that of Q1.

As such, title rivals Sofuoglu and Eugene Laverty will start alongside one another, with Michele Pirro and Katsuaki Fujiwara making up the remainder of the front row.

The session itself was topped by David Salom, who led a Triumph 1-2 with Matthieu Lagrive in second position, while Gino Rea, Sofuoglu and Massimo Roccoli completed the top five.

Laverty, meanwhile, was only 15th fastest, more than six seconds off the wet weather pace, though he only completed seven laps.
