PICS: Biaggi and Aprilia's title win

The Emperor comes to power in World Superbikes as he is confirmed as the new champion.
As far as World Superbike title wins go, they don't come much more significant than being an Italian, on an Italian bike, winning on Italian soil.

Naturally, the tifosi waving their 'skull and cross bone' flags were out in force for Biaggi as he completed a famous title win at Imola, the former MotoGP rider ensuring there will be at least one high-profile world championship winner this year.

As the champagne corks popped, our snappers were there to catch every moment of Biaggi and Aprilia's home success.
