Kenan Sofuoglu will start the 2010 World Supersport title decider from pole position at Magny-Cours after dominating proceedings during second qualifying.

The Turk quickly surpassed Katsuaki Fujiwara's provisional pole sitting effort during the Q2 session, Sofuoglu getting his best time down to 1min 41.372secs to command a comfortable advantage over title rival Eugene Laverty.

The Irishman, who is on the wrong end of a 16 point deficit heading into the race, starts alongside after sneaking ahead of Fujiwara, though he remained half a second slower than his nemesis.
