FIRST PIC: Leon Haslam in the BMW garage

Leon Haslam begins his first day as a BMW World Superbike rider during testing in France...
This is the first image of Leon Haslam in the BMW Motorrad garage as post-season testing gets underway at Magny-Cours.

A week on from confirming he will switch to the German manufacturer from the Suzuki Alstare team he took to second in the 2010 WSBK standings, Haslam will get his first taste of the BMW S1000RR later today.

Joining Troy Corser in the team, Haslam is one of several riders sampling new machinery over the next two days following a glut of announcements in recent weeks.

More pictures and news will follow over the course of the day…

Nice to see that he working with the same crew chief again next year. Seem like they both work well together and also his crew chief has worked with Alstare Suzuki for a few years and has gone with leon and I think Francis Batta and let him go with Leon coz he wants the best for both of them and could no give it to them at Suzuki coz they pulled the plug shame Thumbs up to Francis Batta to the way he gone about the hole thing.
