Liberty Ducati officially launched

The Czech-based team will have the only two-rider Ducati line-up on the WSBK grid in 2011.
The newly-formed Liberty Racing team has been officially launched in the Czech Republic ahead of its World Superbike debut in 2011.

The outfit is one of three privateer teams (together with Althea and Supersonic) that will represent Ducati in the absence of the manufacturer itself, though Liberty will be the only one to enter a two rider team.

Launched in Prague, the bikes, which were prepared by the Xerox Ducati team this season, were unveiled with substantial Effenbert beer sponsorship, one of the brands in the Liberty Cz Group portfolio.

With Jakub Smrz and Sylvain Guintoli signed to ride, the team will make its testing debut on January 12th when the team partakes in a private outing at Guadix, before joining the group test at Portimao later in the month.
