Haslam on track in Spain

New factory BMW World Superbike rider Leon Haslam got some extra track time on an S1000RR at Cartagena in Spain this week.

According to his Twitter page, Haslam was present with the BMW test team during the three days and also used a test bike, since his race bikes are already on their way to Australia.

The Briton escaped harm in a small crash, which occurred when he “lost the front on a fast left but saved it and I just had to lay it down before the barrier... All good just scuffed my new dianeses.”

Haslam, the 2010 WSBK title runner-up for Alstare Suzuki, will ride alongside Troy Corser at BMW this year.

lol er, you do realize Corser was also 2nd in the championship the year before he went to BMW? After 2 years of doing all the donkey work I would doubt that they would just cast him aside to concentrate on Leon. I would hope that they would both get equal treatment.
