Max Biaggi could race with the 'number 1' title plate in 2011 as he bids to defend his World Superbike Championship crown.
The 2010 title-winner is classified on the official entry lists with his traditional '3' plate, while he has also appeared in testing with his Aprilia adorning the familiar logo.
However, during the official photo sessions prior to this weekend's opening round at Phillip Island, the team wheeled Biaggi's bike out with the champion's plate, suggesting he may well ride as 'No.1' in 2011.
Designed in a similar style to that of his usual moniker, should Biaggi go ahead and use the number, he will be the first to take advantage of the champion's honour since Troy Corser in 2006.
Prior to the photo shoot, Biaggi had worn a 'No.1' logo on the side of the RSV-4.
