Camier unhappy with Biaggi during Assen qualifying

"It was a quick lap and he was just stood in the middle of the track..."
Just one round after the controversial clash between Max Biaggi and Marco Melandri at Donington Park, caused by allegations of slow riding on the racing line, another rider was overheard complaining about Biaggi at Assen last weekend.

That rider was his own team-mate Leon Camier who, after returning to the pits during the first part of Superpole, was seen pointing across to the other side of the Aprilia garage.

An unhappy Camier can then be overheard on the Eurosport cameras telling his team: " was a quick lap and he was just stood in the middle of the track... Him! [points across garage again and shakes his head]."

After hearing those words, a laughing Eurosport commentator Jack Burnicle responds: "That's Leon Camier proving what everybody is suspecting about Max Biaggi, his own team-mate."

Camier went on to qualify ninth, with Biaggi starting sixth.

How can anyone say that having a rider purposely balk others on their fast laps is a good thing. All the posters before me are idiots. It is poor sportsmanship you are on a fast out lap or cooldown lap you stay out of the way of other riders. Max has done this for years and I really hope the stewards in WSBK start hitting him harder for it and we start seeing more penalties. Checa is cleaning Max's clock and Max's real behavior is starting to show again because of it. After last year I really thought Max turned over a new leaf but I can see a zebra never changes his stripes.
