Leon Camier says it will be tough to predict who will come out on top at the upcoming Miller Motorsports Park round of the 2011 World Superbike Championship, though he is hoping he is one of the contenders.

Camier is returning to the scene of his best-ever WSBK finish - a second place behind Max Biaggi in 2010 -, with an eye on getting two good finishes after a frustrating weekend at Monza.

Indeed, despite a recent test at Misano being hampered by technical issues, Camier is confident he has made a step forward with the Aprilia RSV-4 chassis nonetheless.

"It's going to a tough weekend I'm sure, but I'm really looking forward to Miller. The start of the season has thrown a lot of bad luck at us and I'm sure some good luck has to come our way soon!
Following the race weekend at Monza we had a two day test at Misano, and ok we didn't do too many laps, but I think we made a positive step with the chassis."

Reflecting on the race weekend ahead, Camier, currently eighth in the standings, expects the top positions to be hotly contested.

"The field is really strong, it'll be hard to know who exactly will come out on top. Checa was really strong here last year and is obviously on top form this season, then there's Max [Biaggi], both BMW's and both Yamaha's, so it should be really interesting!"
