Jonathan Rea will take no further part in the Misano round of the 2011 World Superbike Championship after hurting himself in an accident during warm-up.

The Northern Irishman - currently sixth in the WSBK standings - came down at turn eleven during the 15 minute session, forcing a red flag to be flown as he was taken to the medical centre for checks.

The Castrol Honda rider, who has been beset with injury woes this year, is reported to have fractured his arm and also sustained concussion, ruling him out of racing at Misano this weekend and probably Motorland Aragon next weekend.
