Leon Camier says he is pleased he won't be returning to Misano for another year after enduring what he described as a 'weekend to forget'.

The British rider forced himself onto the back foot with errors in qualifying that left him 15th on the grid (14th in race two), but while he was able to force his way up to a solid sixth in race one - before crashing in race two -, he was generally unhappy with the 'feeling' of the Aprilia Alitalia.

Indeed, even though Camier has actually risen a place to sixth in the overall standings, he wants to swiftly draw a veil over the weekend.

"A weekend to forget," he lamented. "I never had a good feeling, not even in race one, despite a result that is nothing to scoff at. I've never liked this track. The only positive thing is that, at least for this year, we won't be back here."
