Yoshimura, Waters to race in Portugal

Yoshimura Suzuki and Josh Waters will compete in the final round of the 2011 World Superbike Championship in Portugal.
Yoshimura Suzuki has announced it will be present for the final round of the 2011 World Superbike Championship in Portimao, once more with Josh Waters.

Yoshimura and Australian Superbike Champion Waters have paired together twice this season, once at Phillip Island and again at Miller Motorsports Park, and has now confirmed it will be in attendance for the last event of the year in Portugal.

The Japanese team has made no secret of a desire to step up to the World Superbike Championship, having enjoyed success on the Japanese domestic scene, though it remains to be seen whether it could move full-time in 2012.

With Waters at the helm, Yoshimura Suzuki managed three point-scoring finishes in four races, with a best of 12th coming at Miller Motorsports Park.

Dont think Josh is the right rider for this bike. Would be good to see Hopper or someone like Brookes or Blake Young. Josh isn't of wsbk calibre yet.
