Laverty to race for factory Aprilia team

Eugene Laverty to race alonside Max Biaggi at the factory Aprilia WSBK team.
Aprilia has confirmed the status of new signing Eugene Laverty for the 2012 World Superbike Championship season.

The 25-year-old Irishman, who finished fourth in his debut WSBK campaign with Yamaha, has now been confirmed as Max Biaggi's team-mate at the factory Aprilia Racing team.

Laverty, who has signed a two-year Aprilia deal, therefore takes the place of Leon Camier.

Double 2011 race winner Laverty was fastest on his RSV4 debut at the recent Portimao test.

Funny but I remember posters on this site predicting that Leon (Camier) would show Max the way. Max is getting on in years, but he's yet to be done over by a team mate. I'm wondering does anybody know what Haga is doing?

@ Matty G, dont you know ? Everyone's grandmother would slay Max if they got the same bike and the same parts as Max. Maybe not in real life, but on this forum for sure.
