Vote for your WSBK Rider of the Year

CLICK HERE to rate each of the World Superbike Championship riders out of ten for their 2011 performances...
It only seems like yesterday that the 2011 World Championship began in earnest at Phillip Island, but eight months down the line we are already looking back at another enthralling season.

Fifteen wins from 26 races make it somewhat difficult to argue a case against Carlos Checa being the 'Rider of the Year', but the Spaniard did not make the grid alone, which is why we at Crash.net want to know who else stood out for you in 2011.

After all, while Checa was a class act in 2011, the likes of Marco Melandri, Eugene Laverty, Ayrton Badovini and even Mark Aitchison have found praise amongst Crash.net readers this season for their efforts, be it because of their experience or because they achieved great things on lesser heralded machinery.

Which is why we aren't just asking you to pick your top rider for 2011, but instead to rate each of the 19 full-time competitors, so we can rank them according to your ratings.

Simply rate each one out of ten and we'll provide your definitive countdown in the coming weeks based on the average scores…

To submit your ratings, all you have to do is CLICK HERE.

Do not underestimate Biaggis performance, even if he made some unnecessary mistakes (Donington and controversial Monza ride-through), he was still the only one who was able to threat Checa with strong Ducati 1200cc. Do not forget that before his injury he was only 62 points behind Carlos with 8 races to go, and in Nurburgring he had very fast pace before his injury! Many people do not like him, majority of articles (not only) in Crash are somehow biased against him. But...You can dislike Biaggi as a person, but he is one of the most succesful motorcycle riders ever, no doubt about it. He did again great job this year!
