Giugliano relishing debut at Miller Motorsports Park

'I want to make up for things at Salt Lake – I'll be giving it my all, to take as many points as possible' - Davide Giugliano
Davide Giugliano is preparing to make his debut at the picturesque Miller Motorsports Park in the USA.

Giugliano is currently ninth in the World Superbike Championship ahead of the sixth round of the series this weekend in the United States at Miller and the reigning 1000cc FIM Superstock champion is eagerly looking ahead to the experience.

“Miller Motorsports Park will be a totally new track for me. I can't wait to see it as I've heard a lot of good things and know that Carlos [Checa] loves racing there,” said the Althea Ducati rider.

“I was disappointed with the Donington results of course and want to make up for things at Salt Lake – I'll be giving it my all, to take as many points as possible and improve my championship position.”

Giugliano finished seventh in race one at Donington Park last time out before crashing out of race two.

As is now tradition, race day at Miller is on Monday, which is Memorial Day in the US.

@ cruachan Remember last year's all-Ducati podium in race 1! It's rather a Ducati track than Monza or Donington, but this year we can't take anything for granted. The BMW can be good again and this year's Kawasaki with Sykes also suits every circuit.
