Baz optimistic ahead of Brno

Loris Baz eyes a pair of strong results at Brno after failing to score in either race at Motorland Aragon.
Having gotten some welcome testing miles under his belt at Motorland Aragon, Loris Baz is looking forward to putting his greater knowledge of the Kawasaki ZX-10R to use at Brno.

Following his mid-season switch to the premier Superbike series as Kawasaki's replacement for Joan Lascorz, Baz has shown respectable form with the factory-backed team and has already notched up two top ten finishes.

However, having completed a substantial testing programme at Motorland Aragon, Baz is confident he can show a step forward in form at Brno this weekend.

“We tested at Aragon again recently and it is becoming like a second home now,” he said. “We had good weather for two days and we tried a lot of things, and found some more improvements, so it was good to do.

“We worked a lot in hot conditions and we improved our pace compared to the race. So I think we made another little step, but we will see in Brno. It is a nice track for me and I like it. It should be good because some parts of Aragon are quite like parts of Brno so we have tried a few things to suit the Czech circuit.”
