Johnson secures Pedercini ride

National Superstock 1000 Championship contender David Johnson will ride the Pedercini Kawasaki at Silverstone
David Johnson will make his second World Superbike Championship appearance of the season after being hired to ride the available Pedercini Kawasaki at Silverstone this weekend.

The Australian, who is currently competing in the British Superstock 1000 Championship, rode a BMW in a wild-card outing at Phillip Island earlier this season and will return aboard the Pedercini Kawasaki at Silverstone this weekend.

He takes the place of Leandro Mercado, who is stepping back to compete with Team Pedercini in the FIM Superstock 1000 Championship, and will partner David Salom.
