Neukirchner tests Ducati 1199 Panigale

Max Neukirchner completes three days of testing aboard the Ducati 1199 Panigale he is expected to race in the 2013 World Superbike Championship.
Max Neukirchner's anticipated return to the World Superbike Championship is gathering pace after completing three days testing the Ducati 1199 Panigale he intends to ride in 2013.

A former race winner at World Superbike level, Neukirchner switched to the Moto2 World Championship in 2011 after a difficult season on the Ten Kate Honda, but is set to return to the series where he has enjoyed most success riding a new twin-cylinder Panigale.

Expected to compete under the Team MR Ducati banner, Neukirchner was on track at Jerez getting acquainted with the machine, declaring on his Facebook account afterwards that he was 'happy' with its performance.

Neukirchner is now expected to join the likes of Alstare Ducati and BMW in the final WSBK test of 2012 ahead of a full programme in 2013.
