Eni to continue WSBK title backing

Italian petroleum company Eni will continue to support the World Superbike Championship as its title backer until the end of the 2014 season.
The World Superbike Championship will continue to receive title sponsorship from Eni until the end of the 2014 season after an extension of its deal was agreed.

A familiar presence in the WSBK paddock for many years, the Italian petroleum company increased its backing to title supporter from the second round of the 2012 season at Imola in what was originally penned as a one-year deal.

With Eni now supplying nine of the thirteen teams currently competing in World Superbikes, this agreement has now been extended for 2013 and 2014.

The deal is only applicable to the World Superbike class.
