Injured FIXI Crescent Suzuki rider Leon Camier is on his way to Assen where a last-minute decision will be made about his fitness for this weekend's World Superbike round.

The Englishman required surgery after a nasty knee injury during practice at the previous Aragon round. Camier's chances of being fit for Assen are said to be "more than 50%".

The Crescent team state that Camier's fitness will be assessed once he reaches the circuit. The final verdict might not be made until Friday morning.
