Alstare Ducati's Carlos Checa is feeling 'much stronger' ahead of this weekend's fifth round of the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park in England after being ruled out at Monza.

Checa missed both races last time out at the Italian circuit due to an osseous edema to the humerus of his left shoulder.

However, the Spaniard has made good progress and is now ready for a return to action at a circuit where he was a winner in 2011.
