Althea Aprilia's Davide Giugliano hopes the British weather doesn't put a dampener on this weekend's fifth round of the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park.
Giugliano finished 10th and sixth at Monza last time out although 'technical problems' slowed the Italian's progress.
The Aprilia rider is looking forward to the challenge of the undulating British circuit but hopes the rain stays away this weekend.
“I really like the Donington track. It's fast but it's also technical and it's always fun to ride the undulating sections of this track,” said Giugliano.
“Unfortunately the British weather is always an unknown and my hope is that it doesn't rain.
“The Monza event didn't exactly go as I'd hoped because we had some technical problems that limited me.
“This is another reason why I'm looking forward to Donington, to work hard with my team and obtain important results.”
