Eugene Laverty has set his sights on a fourth World Superbike Championship win of the season at his 'favourite circuit' of Portimao as he looks to make headway in the fight for the title.

An indifferent Donington Park race weekend saw Laverty lose ground to key rivals Sylvain Guintoli and Tom Sykes, but the Irishman has a strong record at Portimao, including his first win as an Aprilia rider in 2012.

With this in mind, Laverty is looking forward to the Portuguese weekend and is aiming at the top step of the podium.
