World Superbike Championship leader Sylvain Guintoli says he is looking forward to having the opportunity to unleash the Aprilia RSV4 at Portimao after feeling limited last time out at Donington Park.

Despite two podiums at the British event, Guintoli saw his series lead shrink to just four points following Tom Sykes's double success, though the Frenchman was otherwise pleased with his results on a circuit that he says doesn't suit the Aprilia RSV4.

By contrast, Guintoli has high hopes the sweeping Portuguese circuit will help him challenge for his first win since the Phillip Island opener.
