Leon Camier could be forced to join Loris Baz and Jonathan Rea on the sidelines for the 11th round of the World Superbike Championship at Istanbul Park after injuring his foot in a spill during FP1.

The FIXI Crescent Suzuki rider was already coming to Turkey with arm and neck injuries sustained in a high-speed accident at the Nurburgring two weeks ago, but a further spill during the early stages of FP1 in Turkey has left him nursing broken bones in his foot.

Taken to hospital for an official diagnosis, though FIXI Crescent team manager Paul Denning has not ruled out Camier's participation this weekend, the accident is a further blow to the Briton in a year that has also seen him sustain a serious knee injury.
