Eugene Laverty is predicting an 'exciting end to the season' if he can maintain the momentum from his potentially crucial double victory last time out in Turkey as the World Superbike Championship prepares to return to Laguna Seca.

A critical performance at a time when Laverty's title hopes had appeared to be fading following a number of costly crashes, Laverty is now 26 points adrift of leader Tom Sykes with three rounds and six races remaining.

An unfamiliar circuit for the Irishman, Laverty is nonetheless confident in his chances Stateside aboard the factory Aprilia RSV4.
