Official 'Ducati Superbike Team' confirmed

Official 'Ducati Superbike Team' announced for 2014 World Superbike season
Having previously announced that Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano will form its official World Superbike line-up, Ducati has now confirmed its new team structure.

After splitting from Alstare after just one season, Ducati is to compete as an official factory team once again.

Simply titled as the 'Ducati Superbike Team', the squad will operate in collaboration with Feel Racing, with which Ducati achieved many past victories in the production-based series.

Feel Racing, which has 'actively contributed' to seven WSBK Riders' titles and ten Constructors' titles, became the WSBK partner of BMW Motorrad after Ducati withdrew its previous official team at the of 2010.

The Ducati Superbike Team will come under the direct responsibility of Luigi new Ducati Corse general managercDall'Igna and Paolo Ciabatti, in his role as Ducati Corse Sporting Director.

Ernesto Marinelli is confirmed as Superbike project director with Serafino Foti assuming the role of team manager.

Ducati looking good for 2014 - strong new team, a full year of development on the Panigale & hopefully not too much regulation blocking the new bike from achieving its potential. Looking forward to see Davies & Giugliano riding hard & aggressively, putting the Duke back on the podium where it belongs!
