PICS: Eugene Laverty testing Suzuki

2013 WSBK title runner-up Eugene Laverty completed his first laps on a Voltcom Crescent Suzuki during testing at Jerez on Monday.

BSB champion Alex Lowes was again riding the team's other GSX-R, although his deal is yet to be officially confirmed.

Laverty's former Aprilia team plus Kawasaki, Pata Honda, the new Yakhnich MV Agusta outfit and Alex's twin brother Sam Lowes - moving to Moto2 with Speed Up next year - were also on track.

The Ducati MotoGP team will test at Jerez later this week, when the new 'open' class version of the Desmosedici to be raced by Pramac's Yonny Hernandez will make it track debut.
