Alex Lowes is ready to meet the challenge of his maiden World Superbike season head on as the reigning British Superbike champion commences preparations for the new season in Spain.

The Voltcom Crescent Suzuki rider will make his debut at Almeria during a two-day test this week before the team travels to Portimao in Portugal for further testing.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back on the bike after the winter break and working with the team to build on the progress we made at the end of last year," Lowes said.
