World Superbike champions Kawasaki are gearing up for the official launch of the 2014 Ninja ZX-10R in Barcelona on Thursday.

Britain's Tom Sykes claimed the title last year after powering to nine victories and is out to defend his crown this season, when he is again joined in the team by young French prospect Loris Baz.

The pair will be joined by David Salom, who will head up Kawasaki's Evo project this year, at the launch, which takes place near the team's headquarters in the Pabello Mies Van Der Rohe in Barcelona at 7.30pm.
