Loris Baz says he is looking forward to the start of the 2014 World Superbike Championship after completing a successful two-day test at Jerez.

The young Frenchman, who missed the final portion of the 2013 season with a back injury, returns to racing competition at Phillip Island in two weeks' time having completed a full winter testing schedule.

Culminating in him ending the two-day test at Jerez this week just a tenth adrift of title-winning team-mate Tom Sykes on the Kawasaki, Baz is excited about the prospect of getting his season underway.
