Davide Giugliano is hoping he will gain some advantage from having 'Aragon wizard' Chaz Davies alongside him in the Ducati garage this weekend, as the World Superbike Championship resumes in Spain.

The Italian gave Ducati its most successful WSBK weekend with the 1199 Panigale R since its introduction in 2013 last time out at Phillip Island, claiming a front row start and finishing just off the podium in both races.

Going on to star in private testing at Jerez recently too, Giugliano is feeling confident heading to Motorland Aragon, where he is hoping he can also benefit from the knowledge of team-mate Davies, who won both races in Spain last season.

"I consider it an advantage having the 'Arag?n wizard' there in the garage next to me, as having such a strong teammate always spurs me on even more. I'm keen to get started, we're coming from Phillip Island where we were strong and from the Jerez tests where we were consistently fast. So I'm extremely motivated to start work at Arag?n."
