Marco Melandri is satisfied he is back to 100 per cent fitness following the lengthy break between the first and second rounds of the 2014 World Superbike Championship.

The Italian was a podium-winner on his first outing with Aprilia Racing in Australia, though a run-on in race two scuppered his hopes of matching team-mate Sylvain Guintoli in terms of overall points.

Nonetheless, Melandri is excited by his potential at Aragon, a circuit he has performed well at in the past on machines that haven't been able to match the top speed pace of his RSV4.
