WSBK Assen: PICS: Sylvain Guintoli's dramatic high-side

Sylvain Guintoli suffers a rare crash during the second WSBK race at Assen... scroll through these spectacular shots!
It isn't often we see Sylvain Guintoli crashing, but the Frenchman suffered just that during the second World Superbike race at Assen.

The Aprilia rider was running second and chasing down Jonathan Rea for the lead when he lost the rear-end of his RSV4 through the tricky final corner in slippery conditions.

Flipping him into a high-side, our snappers were there to catch the moment his world turned upside down... Remarkably, the foolhardy rider simply brushed himself down, got going again and fought back to ninth place in just eight laps.
