Chaz Davies is looking forward after a disappointing World Superbike weekend at Assen saw him come away with a seventh and eighth place finish.

Already on the back foot after qualifying down in 12th place, Davies says the chatter issues that hampered him in qualifying would return to frustrated him in the first race too as he finished a distant seventh.

Hoping for better fortune in the wet, Davies says he lacked confidence on the 1199 Panigale in the slippery conditions as he opted for a safe run to eighth.
