Team Hero EBR suffered more technical set-backs during the fourth round of the World Superbike Championship at Imola after three retirements from four starts.

With neither Geoff May and Aaron Yates able to finish in Assen, the first all-American team to enter WSBK was seeking a turn of fortune in Imola, but both riders would fail to finish in race one, before only May completed race two.

A tough day for team manager Giulio Bardi, he is nonetheless confident the EBR 1190RX will continue to improve.

"Obviously I would like a better result, but from our side what really matters is constantly improving throughout the season. Every race is like a test for us and after each race we become stronger than before. I know our team is doing its best to improve the EBR 1190RX and I am sure we will soon get some good results."
