Romain Lanusse will step up to the World Superbike Championship class at Donington Park as the replacement for the injured Luca Scassa at Pedercini Kawasaki.

The Frenchman competes with the team in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, where he currently lies seventh overall after three rounds, but with Donington Park not featured on the 2014 schedule, he will get the chance to ride in the Superbike class for the first time this weekend.

Joining Alessandro Andreozzi in riding the Kawasaki ZX-10R, Lanusse replaces Scassa, who suffered a broken femur during MotoGP testing at Mugello just hours after he was announced as the stand-in for the injured Danilo Petrucci at IodaRacing.
