Endurance World Championship racer Michael Savary is set to make his World Superbike Championship debut at Misano, riding an MV Agusta F4 prepared under the 'Dream Team Company' banner.

Currently racing the Team Motors Events April Moto Suzuki in the EWC, Savary has been assigned by the new Dream Team Company outfit to help develop its MV Agusta, beginning with an outing at the upcoming Misano round of the world championship.

A bold project with a bike that has struggled since its introduction to World Superbikes under the factory-backed guise of Yakhnich Motorsports this year, Savary tested the bike recently at Misano but admitted to his personal website that it still requires development, adding that the debut could yet be delayed to Portimao.

"As we expected, the bike did very little running, it lacks adjustment and we met a lot of problems. Overall, the tests were somewhat inconclusive but the bike performs well on the track. However, a big engine problem persists and the electronics is still to develop before they can initiate this bike in a race of this magnitude.

"Being officially committed to Misano on 22 June, the team is in a race against the clock and he now remains a few days to get the bike ready and competitive. If this deadline cannot be met, the team will enter into discussions to possibly postpone our participation in the World to the next round to be held in Portimao July 6.
