WSBK Misano: Lowes keen to fulfil potential at Misano

With the WSBK summer break approaching, Alex Lowes is looking to ensure he can return to the podium over the next three rounds.
Alex Lowes is hoping luck will be on his side when the World Superbike Championship resumes at Misano after a bruising weekend at Sepang prevented him from fulfilling his potential.

The British rider was involved in the turn one fracas between Tom Sykes and Loris Baz, the Suzuki rider arguably coming off worst as he suffered with shoulder pain for the remainder of the day.

Preventing him from getting the result he felt he was capable of, he is hoping the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit at Misano will work more in his favour.

“I am really looking forward to getting back out on my Suzuki GSX-R, we had a lot of potential that we didn't have the chance to fully realise last time out.

"These next three races before the summer break are really important to me and I am going to be giving everything I can to get back on that podium!”

Lowe's should have a good fews coming up before the break. After Misano, Portimao and Laguna Seca are undulating, highly technical circuits. Alex has the chops to do well at these tracks and most likely will. Also, Gsxr's go well at Laguna.
