Loris Baz feels he is in better race shape ahead of the seventh World Superbike round at Misano than he was in Superpole, despite putting his Kawasaki on the second row in fourth place.

Much like Kawasaki team-mate Tom Sykes, Baz's late flyer saw him ascend the timesheets just before the chequered flag fell, the Frenchman qualifying just off the front row in fourth place directly behind is pole-sitting counterpart.

More importantly for Baz though, he feels he has a stronger race package beneath him, suggesting his race simulation saw him lapping faster towards the end than he managed at the beginning.
