WSBK Magny-Cours: German champions to wild-card at Magny-Cours

Ducati 3C Racing will wild-card all three of its IDM Superbike Championship 1199 Panigales for Xavi Fores, Max Neukirchner and Lorenzo Lanzi in France.
Newly-crowned German IDM Superbike Champion Ducati 3C Racing has confirmed it will step up to the World Superbike Championship with a trio of bikes for the penultimate round of the 2014 season at Magny-Cours.

The team, which sealed both the manufacturers and riders' titles with Javier Fores, Max Neukirchner and Lorenzo Lanzi last weekend at Hockenheimring, has been tipped to make the full step to WSBK competition in 2014 and will use the French outing as an opportunity to evaluate its future.

All three riders will be present in Magny-Cours, with Fores – who has won the IDM title to add to his success in Spain -, and former WSBK front runner Neukirchner on an 1199 Panigale.

3C Ducati have won 11 of the 15 IDM Superbike races so far this season, unseating BMW's defending champion Markus Reiterberger.
