Marco Melandri says he is looking to extend his run of recent good form in the World Superbike Championship at Magny-Cours following his double victory last time out in Jerez.

Ascending to fourth in the standings after two convincing wins in Spain, though Melandri's run of good form has probably come slightly too late for a title tilt, the Italian is in a buoyant heading to Magny-Cours.

Having taken the month-break to 'recharge' his batteries, Melandri is looking forward to getting back to action on the Aprilia RSV4.
