Despite being unable to convert his pole position into a podium finish in Qatar, Davide Giugliano was pleased to end his season with two positive race results.

Having warned that he may struggle to replicate his qualifying form in the races having spent his weekend concentrating on getting a better, more composed feeling on the Ducati following a spate of crashes, Giugliano spent both races in the chasing pack.

Despite this, the Italian was pleased with his race performances, finishing fifth in race one and eighth in race two, saying it gives him a good platform for the 2015 WSBK season.
