Randy de Puniet says he will be doing everything he can to get acquainted with the Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike as he prepares for four days of testing in Jerez.

The Frenchman, who has forged his career in the grand prix ranks over the years, switches to WSBK in 2015 with the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki team in what will be his first-time competing in Superbike racing.

Though he has some experience of the GSX-R1000 having competed in the Suzuka 8 Hours, de Puniet is looking forward to sampling the WSBK-specification machine and has set himself the task of getting up to speed quickly.
