Randy de Puniet says he will go into the winter period watching Superbike races and working on a new riding style to better prepare him for his new career as a World Superbike Championship rider.

The former MotoGP rider completed his first laps for Voltcom Crescent Suzuki during testing in Jerez alongside new team-mate Alex Lowes, spending four days getting better acquainted with the GSX-R1000 in both dry and wet conditions.

Setting a best time of 1min 41.296secs - achieved on qualifying rubber -, de Puniet says he will now spend the winter attempting to learn some tricks of the Superbike trade by watching past races.
