PATA Honda and Kawasaki's preparations for the 2015 World Superbike Championship got off to a chilly start as cold and damp conditions prevented them from getting much track action.

Having seen its first test of the year in Portimao hampered by wet weather, PATA Honda travelled over to Spain and the Motorland Aragon circuit in Alcaniz hoping to crack on with its workload with Sylvain Guintoli and Michael van der Mark.

However, both it and Kawasaki Racing recruits Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea, plus Pedercini's David Salom, would be pit-lane bound for much of the day before calling it quits in the hope of better luck on Tuesday.
