The Russian round of the 2015 World Superbike Championship has been dropped from the schedule over contractual issues, it has been confirmed.

The Moscow Raceway, which debuted on the WSBK schedule in 2012, was dropped from the 2014 calendar mid-way through the season due to logistical issues relating to the ongoing conflict in neighbouring Ukraine.

Despite this, it was reinstated onto the provisional 2015 schedule with a round set to take place on July 5th 2015, albeit subject to contract.
