World Superbike rookie Michael van der Mark can't wait for the real action to commence this weekend at Phillip Island after completing the final two-day test at the Australian circuit.

The 22-year-old Dutchman was ninth fastest on the combined times on the Pata Honda Fireblade, setting a best lap of 1m 31.854s.

The reigning World Supersport champion is continuing to adapt to the CBR1000RR SP and focused on gaining strong base chassis and electronics settings during the test, but van der Mark is now in race mode ahead of the season opener at the spectacular track.
