Sylvain Guintoli says he cannot wait to get his season properly underway after having the opening World Superbike event hampered by his back injury.

The defending champions soldiered on to good points during the season opener, but admitted to struggling with the back injury he sustained in an accident during pre-season testing.

However, a month on, Guintoli is eager to get back on the PATA Honda and is looking forward to sampling the new Chang International Circuit in Thailand.
