Davide Giugliano is on course to return to World Superbike Chmpionship action at his home round in Imola after getting back to bike training this week.

Having come into the season as a favourite for race wins on the Aruba.it Ducati 1199R, the Italian suffered injuries in an accident during pre-season testing that has ruled him out of the opening four races.

Out of action for more than two months now, Giugliano is nonetheless on course to be back on the bike at Imola after getting a run on a short track in preparation for his plotted return on May 8-9-10.
